D R U M M I N’ O N S H E L B Y

Drummin’ On Shelby emerged from the Ladies Only Mural Mash, a mini mural festival celebrating women artists and art leaders living and working in Central Indiana. The project brought together three lead artists and two apprentices to create murals guided by themes developed in collaboration with the building owner. While the other murals drew inspiration from nature and florals, my mural centered on the rhythm of drumming.

Throughout the weekend, the Shelby Street intersection became an active gathering space, with the organizers hosting a day party featuring local DJs, light refreshments, and an atmosphere of shared creativity as the murals came to life.
