Moon Valley was my debut solo exhibition and first full cohesive body of work. Born from a divine vision I received in 2019, this show is a visual metaphor for the valleys we walk through on our path to healing, growth, and faith. I thought I’d be working from past experiences & memories, but it turns out, I was being led to walk through valleys as I painted them. In this season, I had to learn how to fully step into new levels within my calling and defining my voice as an artist.
Inspired by desert landscapes and the sunset color palette of the American West, these pieces explore themes of surrender, transformation, and guidance. Many of the works are rooted in scripture. They serve as an anchor and reminder during personal challenges and transitions. Moon Valley is more than a collection of paintings; it's an invitation to see beauty in barren places and to remember that His light is constant and will consistently finds us—even in the valley. If you find yourself caught between who you are and who you’re becoming, I hope this series is an answered prayer for you.
